Session 7: Open to All Parents and Family Members of New Students
A specially designed one day orientation program for parents and family members of new Rutgers students. This day long program will include helpful sessions hosted by a variety of University offices and departments, a student panel, resource fair and optional walking tour. Registration fee includes breakfast, catered lunch, Rutgers family-themed giveaways and parking permit. Please note that all Parent and Family Orientation programs are separate from the New Student Orientation programs.
Due to space limitations, only
family members per student are permitted to attend. Each family member attending orientation must have an individual ticket. Tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be guaranteed at the door if not purchased in advance.
Please note that online ticket sales close one week before orientation program date.
Tickets are also non-refundable and non-transferrable. Due to the topics and format of the program, it is not recommended for children. If a child must attend with parents, children under the age of 10 do not need to purchase a ticket.
Additional information on the Parent and Family Orientation program will be emailed to registered attendees one week prior to program date. General orientation program information can be found at
